76th Republic Day Celebrated With Patriotic Fervor At RINL
A.K. Bagchi, Director (Projects) & additional charge Director (Operations), expressed confidence that the RINL team can once again achieve the turnaround
RINL, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant celebrated the 76th Republic Day with patriotic fervour at the Trishna grounds at Ukkunagaram of Visakhapatnam steel plant, today.
The chief guest A.K. Bagchi, Director (Projects) & additional charge Director (Operations), RINL unfurled the National Flag, took the salute.
Bagchi, Director (Projects) & additional charge Director (Operations), RINL conveyed his Republic Day greetings to RINL employees, their family members, employees working in various Mines and branches across the country, Trade Unions, Steel Executives Association, SC & ST and OBC Associations, WIPS.
Bagchi, specially thanked the Authorities at the Ministry of Steel; the State & Central Government Authorities; the District Administration; the Print and Electronic Media and the Citizens of Visakhapatnam and to all Suppliers, Customers, Partners, Stake holders and well-wishers for their great support to RINL.
Speaking on the occasion, Bagchi said that “The Republic Day celebrations are very special in which every Indian takes great pride. On this day, seventy six years ago, in a remarkable display of idealism and courage, our great leaders and patriotic soldiers through their supreme sacrifice carved a Sovereign Democratic Republic. The prime objective was to secure all Indian citizens their benign justice, liberty and equality to promote the dignity of every citizen and the· unity of the nation. Democracy became the guiding light towards peace and regeneration from the swamp of poverty created by centuries of colonial rule.
Sincere and collective efforts by the RINL collective resulted in Bagchi said that RINL bagged several prestigious National and State level awards like State Energy Conservation Gold Award Award-2024 in the Iron & Steel Sector from AP State Government for RINL’s various measures towards Energy conservation, National Energy Leader Award for consecutively for the 6th time from CII Godrej Green Business Centre apart from significant awards.
A.K. Bagchi said that *RINL continues to be amongst the lowest in Water Consumption in the Indian Steel Industry. “Though we are passing through tough times, we can achieve greater results with proper planning and by working as a team”, he said.
A.K. Bagchi expressed confidence that the RINL team can once again achieve the turnaround with committed and dedicated efforts by each and every employee of RINL and urged everyone to strive hard to put RINL back on the path of progress and glory.
