15 decisions of Yogi Cabinet, preparation to change the picture of UP
A new policy has been brought towards making the state a global export hub

The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh took 15 important decisions in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, which will have a direct impact on the economy, education, employment and infrastructure of the state. The biggest step in Uttar Pradesh has come in the form of the formation of Uttar Pradesh Outsource Service Corporation Limited to make outsourcing services transparent and accountable.
Transparency in outsourcing system
Till now there have been complaints that outsourced employees neither got fixed salary, nor facilities like EPF-ESI. In the new system, the selection process will be done completely through the corporation, the salary will go directly to the accounts and the employees will be assured of a monthly honorarium of Rs 16 to 20 thousand. Along with this, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Divyangjan and women will get reservation. The government claims that this step will offer new employment opportunities and a new model of good governance.
E-bus project in Lucknow-Kanpur
To modernize urban transport, the Yogi government has decided to run e-buses on the Net Cost Contract (NCC) model in Lucknow and Kanpur. AC e-buses will ply on 10-10 routes. Private operators will be responsible for everything from purchasing buses to operating and maintaining them, while the government will have the right to fix the fare. The government claims that this model will reduce the financial burden and provide better facilities to the passengers.
New Export Promotion Policy 2025-30
A new policy has been brought in the direction of making the state a global export hub. It will focus on digital technology, financial assistance, training and market expansion. The target is to increase the number of registered exporters by 50% by 2030 and connect every district with export activities.
The big decision on the education front is the establishment of Swami Shukdevanand University in Shahjahanpur. The existing 5 educational institutions will be upgraded and made universities. This is expected to give a new direction to higher education in the region. It is clear from these decisions that the Yogi government is simultaneously focusing on employment, education, transport and export. The question is whether these policies will be implemented on the ground at the same speed as is seen in the announcement?
