PNB Signs MoU with C-DOT to Strengthen Comprehensive IT Solutions
Collaboration focuses on secure, scalable banking technology solutions

Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), a premier R&D institution under the Ministry of Communications, to strengthen its IT infrastructure and accelerate digital transformation. The partnership aims to deliver secure, scalable, and customer-centric technology solutions for India’s rapidly evolving banking sector.
The MoU was signed at C-DOT Headquarters, New Delhi, in the presence of senior dignitaries. Representing PNB were Manish Agrawal, GM, Surendra Vishwakarma, GM, Manish Sharma, DGM, and other senior executives, while C-DOT was represented by Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyay, CEO, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Dalela, EVP1, Shikha Srivastava, EVP2, Rajeev Kumar, Registrar, and senior officials.
Under the agreement, C-DOT will provide a suite of advanced solutions including switching and routing, wireless technology, software applications, cybersecurity solutions, and quantum communication tools. The institution will also extend end-to-end support for solution design, integration, deployment, operational assistance, and maintenance—ensuring compliance, security, and scalability aligned with PNB’s strategic goals.
Speaking on the occasion, Manish Agrawal, GM-IT, PNB, said: “This strategic partnership with C-DOT marks a milestone in PNB’s IT transformation journey.
