RLI Vindhyachal Conducts Labour Codes Training for NTPC Employees in VSR Region
Around 153 employees from the VSR region participated in the programme

The Regional Learning Institute (RLI), Vindhyachal organised a half-day training programme on “New Labour Codes” on January 19 and 20, 2026, aimed at enhancing awareness and understanding of the four consolidated Labour Codes and their implications in the workplace.
The programme was conducted in four batches and witnessed participation from employees, SMC members and employee representatives from NTPC’s Vindhyachal, Singrauli and Rihand stations in the VSR region.
The training programme was formally inaugurated by Sanjib Kumar Saha, Chief General Manager (Vindhyachal), who welcomed the Guest of Honour and resource person, Amar Nath Verma, Former Executive Director (HR), NTPC. Emphasising the importance of statutory knowledge, Saha stated that a sound understanding of the new labour codes is essential for ensuring compliance and effectively managing labour-related issues in an evolving industrial environment.

Addressing the participants, A. J. Rajkumar, General Manager (O&M), highlighted that the consolidated Labour Codes have simplified procedures and brought greater clarity in implementation. He appreciated RLI Vindhyachal for organising the programme and expressed confidence that the initiative would strengthen uniformity and practical understanding of labour laws across NTPC stations.
Around 153 employees from the VSR region participated in the programme. The sessions featured detailed presentations followed by interactive discussions and query resolution, enabling participants to gain practical insights into the application of the new labour framework.
The programme reaffirmed NTPC’s commitment to robust statutory compliance, capacity building and harmonious industrial relations across its operations.
