AAI Showcases Future of Aviation at 44th India International Trade Fair 2025
Touch kiosks invite visitors to explore UDAN Scheme, Startup Policy; ‘Air Quiz’ and AI-powered Selfie Zone enhance visitor engagement

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) stole the spotlight at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, unveiling a visually striking and technologically advanced pavilion at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Showcasing the theme “Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat,” the pavilion offered visitors an immersive journey into India’s aviation growth story.
Located in Hall 1G, the AAI pavilion welcomed guests through an eye-catching LED archway featuring futuristic aviation graphics that set the stage for an engaging walkthrough. The experience continued inside with twin anamorphic display walls that vividly depicted AAI’s expanding national footprint, airport modernization milestones, and infrastructure transformations across the country.
A major attraction was the series of interactive touch kiosks, allowing visitors to explore AAI’s flagship initiatives, including the UDAN regional connectivity scheme, Startup Policy, India’s Air Connectivity Map, and AAI – Routes Asia 2025. A dynamic digital flipbook showcased Indian airports as architectural and cultural landmarks, celebrating regional heritage and design diversity.
Adding a layer of fun and participation, AAI introduced an “Air Quiz” for aviation enthusiasts, while an AI-powered Selfie Zone allowed visitors to transform into digital avatars of aviation professionals such as pilots, ATC officers, air hostesses, and fire tender personnel. A dedicated Briefing Zone offered deeper insights to students, media personnel, and aviation learners through interactive sessions on AAI’s initiatives, operations, and long-term vision.
The highlight of the pavilion was the Live ATC Demonstration, offering a rare glimpse into real-time air traffic communication and control. The setup drew significant attention, allowing visitors to better understand the complexities and precision involved in managing India’s busy airspace.
As a key driver of India’s civil aviation sector, the AAI continues to lead with innovation, infrastructure development, seamless air navigation services and modernization of airports across the nation. Its presence at IITF 2025 underscores the organisation’s commitment to leveraging technology, sustainability and innovation to support India’s journey toward Viksit Bharat @2047.
With the fair running from 14 to 27 November 2025, AAI’s pavilion is poised to be one of the most engaging attractions, inspiring visitors and showcasing how aviation remains a cornerstone of national growth, connectivity and economic empowerment.
