After Long Wait, PESB Finally Gets Its Chairperson

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has today approved the appoointment of Mallika Srinivasan, CMD of Tractors and Farm Equipment (TAFE) Limited as the Chairperson of Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB).

The appointment has been made for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge or until the attainment of 65 years or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

Also, Sailesh, IAS (AM: 1985), Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, as Member Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge or until the attainment of 65 years or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
