AIRF Hails DA Raise As Victory Of Entire Working Class
Government has tried to give relief to the Central Government Employees and Pensioners : AIRF
As a result of vigorous persuasions by Comrade Shiva Gopal Mishra, General Secretary AIRF, who is also Secretary of the National Council (JCM), in different Negotiating Fora, and even up to the Cabinet Secretary (Government of India), the Union Cabinet has approved today, i.e. on 14.07.2021, a hike in the Dearness Allowance for serving Central Government Employees and Dearness Relief for the Pensioners/Family Pensioners, from 17% to 28% w.e.f. 1st July, 2021.
This is the victory of the entire Working Class.
By this act, the Government has tried to give some relief to the Central Government Employees and Pensioners to mitigate spiralling prices of the essential commodities.

It is worthwhile to mention here that the Staff Side of the NC/JCM has already raised the issue of releasing of Dearness Allowance/Dearness Relief with one and half year arrears. Staff Side(JCM) had given suggestions that the Staff Side(JCM) is ready to negotiate the issue of arrears in a way that, there should not be any immediate burden on the Government, but the Employees will feel satisfy, even if this arrears is deposited in their P.F. Accounts or some Government Bonds should be given to them.
