Banks Board Bureau Recommends Three Names To Head Public Sector Banks

Banks Board Bureau interfaced with 15 candidates from various public sector banks on March 5-6; March 11-12 & March 15-16, 2022 for the forthcoming positions of MD & CEOs in PSBs. Keeping in view their performance in the interface, their overall experience, extant parameters and preference given by candidates, the Bureau recommends as follows:

a. Ms. A Manimekhalai for the position of MD & CEO in Union Bank of India vice Shri Rajkiran Rai G. who is completing his tenure on May 31, 2022

b. Shri Ajay Kumar Srivastava for the position of MD & CEO in Indian Overseas Bank vice Shri Partha Pratim Sengupta who is completing his tenure on December 31, 2022

c. Shri Swaroop Kumar Saha for the position of MD & CEO in Punjab & Sind Bank vice Shri S Krishnan who is completing his tenure on May 31, 2022
