BCCL Hosts Leadership Lecture by Renowned Motivational Speaker Shiv Khera at Coal Nagar

Shiv Khera emphasised the importance of cultivating a positive mindset and practising value-based professional conduct

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) organised an inspiring leadership lecture by renowned author and motivational speaker Shri Khera at the Community Hall, Coal Nagar, drawing enthusiastic participation from senior management, employees and students.

The special session on “Leadership Talk on Attitude, Leadership, Motivation and Values” was attended by CMD BCCL Manoj Kumar Agrawal, Director General (DGMS) Ujjwal Tah, Director (SIMFR) A.K. Mishra, Director (HR) Murali Krishna Ramaiah, Director (Technical–Operations) Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Technical–Project & Planning) Niladri Roy, CVO Aman Raj, OSD (Finance) Rajesh Kumar, along with members of Diksha Mahila Mandal, representatives of labour organisations, CMOAI members, General Managers, Regional Heads, officers, employees and a large number of school students.

In his address, Shiv Khera emphasised the importance of cultivating a positive mindset and practising value-based professional conduct. He underlined that organisational success rests on ethical leadership supported by the right attitude and behaviour of employees. His motivational insights encouraged participants to view workplace challenges as opportunities for growth and transformation.

CMD BCCL Manoj Kumar Agrawal thanked Shiv Khera for his inspiring session and reaffirmed BCCL’s commitment to strengthening its human capital alongside achieving production excellence. He noted that such engagements play a vital role in energising employees and nurturing a resilient, ethical work culture.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, rendition of the Coal India song and a formal welcome of the chief guest. CMD Agrawal felicitated Khera with a bouquet, shawl and memento, while members of Diksha Mahila Mandal also extended floral greetings. A special moment was marked when Shri Khera was presented with a portrait created by a child artist from the BCCL Skill Development Centre.

The event was conducted by Senior Manager (HR) Ms Yogita Saklani and Ms Safoora Rubab. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, reflecting collective commitment towards nation-building and organisational development.
