Retirement Felicitation Ceremony Organized at BCCL Headquarters
A total of 141 personnel, including six officers and 135 employees, retired from various departments and regions of BCCL in November

A graceful retirement felicitation ceremony was held today at Coal Bhawan Headquarters of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), where a total of 10 retiring personnel—including six officers from various areas and headquarters, and four employees from the headquarters—were honored for their dedicated service.

The event, organized in the conference room at Coal Bhawan, was presided over by BCCL Shri Manoj Kumar Agarwal. The ceremony witnessed the presence of Director (Human Resources) Murali Krishna Ramaiah, CMS Dr. Poonam Dubey, and senior officials including General Manager (HR) Kumar Manoj, GM (Manpower Planning) Apurva Kumar Mitra, GM (Administration) Arpan Ghosh, HOD (Officer Establishment) Shobha J. Kujur, HOD (Welfare) Kiran Rani Nayak, representatives of various labour organisations, senior officers, staff members, and a large gathering of family members of the retiring personnel.
The ceremony commenced with the reading of certificates of honor, followed by the presentation of robes, coconuts, mementos, certificates of appreciation, and other gifts to the retirees.

In his presidential address, CMD Manoj Kumar Agarwal described retirement as a meaningful conclusion to a proud professional journey. He extended warm wishes to all retirees for a rewarding new phase of life, emphasizing that post-retirement offers opportunities for self-satisfaction, personal growth, and social contribution. He encouraged them to continue sharing their valuable experiences with the younger generation to strengthen organizational culture and efficiency.
Director (HR), Murali Krishna Ramaiah, also conveyed his heartfelt best wishes, acknowledging the significant role retiring personnel played in contributing to the company’s growth. He urged all employees to stay healthy, active, and connected while continuing to serve society through their experience and wisdom.

Retired employees shared heartfelt reminiscences of their long association with BCCL and expressed pride in having contributed to the company’s journey. Their reflections highlighted the emotional significance of the moment and their deep bond with the BCCL family.
