1. Educational Qualification
Graduate Apprentice
- B.E/B.Tech in relevant Engineering branches
- B.A/B.Sc/B.Com for non-engineering streams
- Full-time, regular courses only
Technician (Diploma) Apprentice
- Full-time Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the related field
Trade Apprentice (ITI)
- 10th pass + ITI (NCVT) in relevant trade
Passing Year:
Only candidates passed in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible.

The selection is completely merit-based.
1. Shortlisting Based on Marks
- Marks in Degree/Diploma/ITI will be used to prepare a merit list.
2. Tie-Breaking Rule
- Candidate older in age will be given preference.
3. Document Verification
- Shortlisted candidates must attend document verification at BHEL Thirumayam.
