Canara Bank Leads Mega Cleanliness Drive Under Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 in Bengaluru

Responding to the call of the Finance Ministry, Government of India, Canara Bank spearheaded a mega cleanliness drive under the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2025 in Bengaluru on September 23, 2025. The initiative was organized by the Bank’s Head Office at Ward No. 182, Padmanabhanagar.
The drive was conducted under the guidance of General Manager Rama Naik K and other senior executives of the bank. More than 100 bank staff members, along with local residents and safai karmacharis, actively participated in the campaign. Three identified spots in the area were cleaned and freed from garbage during the activity.

Participants worked in the true spirit of the campaign, aiming to promote awareness about hygiene and community responsibility. As a gesture of gratitude, safai karmacharis were felicitated and provided with safety kits and refreshments.

The successful cleanliness drive received appreciation from the residents of Padmanabhanagar, who applauded the efforts of Canara Bank staff and volunteers in contributing towards a cleaner and healthier environment.
