CCL Bids Respectful Farewell to 84 Karmayogis in Heartfelt Ceremony

Emotional "Samman Samaroh" held at CCL Headquarters as retiring employees honored for their dedicated service across departments and regions

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) organized a grand “Samman Samaroh” today at its headquarters to bid farewell to 84 retiring employees, acknowledging their years of dedicated service with pride and respect.

The main event, held at CCL Headquarters, honored eight employees retiring from the central office in July 2025. Simultaneously, farewell ceremonies were held across various operational areas of the company to celebrate the retirements of employees posted there. In total, 84 personnel were given a dignified and emotional send-off.

The following employees from the headquarters were felicitated during the ceremony:

  • Suresh R. Talankar, General Manager (Mining), Washery Construction Department
  • Meraj Ahmad, General Manager (Mining), Operations Department
  • Ajay Kumar Verma, Chief Manager (Excavation), Excavation Department
  • Amresh Tiwari, Office Superintendent, Officer Establishment Department
  • Narayan Chandra Ram, Accountant (A-1), Welfare Department
  • Satpal Singh, Office Superintendent, Human Resource Development Department
  • Anant Tirkey, Senior DEO, Finance Department
  • S. N. Kashyap, Duplicating Operation, Marketing & Sales Department

Director (Human Resources), Harsh Nath Mishra, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his heartfelt address, he said, “All of you have served this organization with loyalty, dedication, and discipline. Your invaluable contributions have shaped the success of CCL. Though today marks your formal retirement, your legacy of experience and commitment will continue to inspire us.”

He also wished the retirees a healthy and fulfilling life ahead, adding, “Just as your efforts were vital to CCL, your well-being is equally important to us. We hope you continue to lead a happy and active life.”

The event was attended by General Managers of various departments, employees, officers, and family members of the retirees. The atmosphere was filled with emotion and gratitude as each retiree was presented with a shawl, bouquet, and memento as a token of appreciation.
