Special Cleanliness Drive Conducted at Dinkar Library, CCL Headquarters under Special Campaign 5.0

Over 3,200 kilograms of old newspapers and magazines cleared to ensure a cleaner, more organized reading environment

A special cleanliness drive was successfully conducted at the Dinkar Library, located at the Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) Headquarters, as part of the ongoing Special Campaign 5.0. The objective of this initiative was to clean the library premises and ensure the optimal utilization of available space so that staff and readers can study in a clean, organized, and conducive environment.

During the campaign, old newspapers and magazines were systematically collected and removed. A total of 3,069 kilograms of old newspapers and 144 kilograms of old magazines were cleared and sold as per the established procedures, generating revenue for the company. This initiative highlights CCL’s commitment to cleanliness, resource reuse, and sustainable waste management.

Through this initiative, CCL emphasized that cleanliness is not merely a one-day activity but a continuous part of the institution’s work culture. The drive has made the library more organized, user-friendly, and conducive to learning.
