CCL Bids Farewell to Retired Employees with Respect, Memories and Best Wishes

A short film showcasing the experiences, memories and emotional reflections of retiring personnel was screened during the ceremony

A grand and dignified felicitation ceremony was organised at the headquarters of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) in Ranchi to honour employees retiring in February 2026. The programme celebrated the dedicated service and contributions of employees who completed their long professional journey with the organisation.

On this occasion, three employees retiring from the headquarters were accorded a warm and respectful farewell. Simultaneously, similar programmes were conducted across various CCL operational regions, taking the total number of employees honoured on the day to 123.

Apart from the headquarters, retirements included 16 employees from the Barka-Sayal region, 10 from Piparwar, 7 from Argada, 9 from the NK region, 1 from Rajhara, 3 from CWS, 4 from Kuju, 6 from Hazaribagh, 10 from the B&K region, 22 from Kathara, 20 from Dhori, 10 from Rajrappa, 1 from Giridih, and 1 employee from Central Hospital, Ramgarh.

The employees retiring from the headquarters included Brij Mohan Rajak, Accountant A-1 (M&S Department); Geeta Singh, Clerk Grade-1 (Human Resources Department); and Bandhan Urawan, Head Security Guard (Security Department).

Sanjay Thakur, General Manager (Officer Establishment/Welfare), attended the programme as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he extended heartfelt wishes to the retirees for a fulfilling post-retirement life. He said it was a matter of pride for the CCL family that the employees completed their service with dedication, loyalty and integrity, adding that their contribution would continue to inspire future generations.

He also encouraged the retirees to utilise their rich experience for social welfare and community development while leading a balanced and positive life through prudent financial and personal management.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of general managers, officers, employees and family members from various departments. All retiring employees were honoured with shawls, bouquets and mementos as a token of gratitude and respect.
