CCL Gives a Dignified Farewell to 82 Retired Employees

A short film capturing the experiences and memories of retiring employees was also screened on the occasion

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) organized a grand “Samman Samaroh” at its headquarters today to bid farewell to employees who retired in September 2025. A total of 82 employees were given a dignified and emotional send-off, including six from the CCL headquarters and others from various regional offices.

A short film capturing the experiences and memories of retiring employees was also screened on the occasion, adding to the emotional atmosphere.

The employees retiring from CCL headquarters are:

  • Chandra Shekhar Singh, General Manager (Excavation), Excavation Department
  • Sunil Kumar Roy, General Manager (Mining), Planning & Project Department
  • Anuradha Priyadarshini, General Manager (E&M), Systems Department
  • Zafar Imam Ansari, Assistant Engineer (E&M), NIMC Department
  • Durgesh Chandra Sharma, Assistant Engineer (E&M), E&M Department
  • Anand Prakash Balmiki, Peon, PRD Department

Speaking on the occasion, Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Human Resources), CCL, who was present as the Chief Guest, expressed gratitude to the retirees, stating: “It is a moment of immense pride for the CCL family that our 82 colleagues, through their hard work, dedication, and honesty, played a vital role in taking the company to new heights. We express our heartfelt gratitude for their invaluable contribution and wish them good health and happiness in this new chapter of their lives.”

The event was attended by a large gathering of general managers, officers, employees, and family members of the retirees. The retirees were honored with shawls, bouquets, and mementos as a token of respect and appreciation for their long-standing service.
