CCL Organizes ‘Samman Samaroh’ to Bid Dignified Farewell to 115 Retiring Employees

Directors (Finance) and (HR) commend retirees’ dedication, commitment, and service to the company

A grand “Samman Samaroh” was held today at the Headquarters of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) in Ranchi, where 12 employees retiring from the headquarters in October 2025 were given a dignified farewell. Similar ceremonies were organized across CCL’s regional offices, where retiring colleagues were honoured with respect and gratitude. In total, 115 employees were bid farewell today.

During the programme at the headquarters, a short film showcasing the experiences, memories, and reflections of the retiring personnel was screened, evoking an emotional response from the audience.

The employees retiring from the CCL Headquarters include:

Shri Suman Kumar, General Manager (E&M), Washery Department; Shri Deepak Dubey, Head of Department (Cash & Fund); Shri Sanjeev Ranjan Sinha, Chief Manager (E&M), Civil Department; Shri Sandeep Majumdar, Office Superintendent (A-1), S&M Department; Mrs. Elin Kerketta and Mrs. Divya Gulab Tete, Matrons, Gandhi Nagar Hospital; Mr. Baleshwar Oraon and Mr. Ratanu Oraon, Senior Ward Boys, Gandhi Nagar Hospital; Mr. Paras Kumar Roy, Duplicator Operator, Cash Department; Mrs. Jamuna Bedia, Plumber, Office Maintenance Department; Mr. Tapeshwar Prasad, Assistant Supervisor (Transport), D(P) Section; and Mr. Raj Kumar Singh, Assistant Machine Man, Jawahar Nagar Colony.

Mr. Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Finance), and Mr. Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Human Resources), graced the occasion as the chief guests.

In his address, Mr. Pawan Kumar Mishra said, “It is a moment of immense pride for the CCL family to recognize that our 115 colleagues have played a vital role in taking the company to new heights through their hard work, dedication, and honesty. We are grateful for their contribution and wish them good health, happiness, and vigor in this new chapter of their lives.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Human Resources), remarked, “Retirement does not mark an end, but a new beginning. Your experience and dedication have strengthened the organization. The CCL family will always be grateful to you.”

The event was attended by a large number of general managers, officers, employees, and family members of the retirees. Each retiree was honoured with shawls, bouquets, and mementos, symbolizing the company’s appreciation for their years of service.
