CCL Releases SOP to Boost Efficiency, Transparency and Accountability

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has taken a significant step towards strengthening organizational efficiency, transparency, and accountability with the formal release of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for its Electrical & Mechanical and Excavation Departments.
The SOPs were unveiled during a high-level meeting attended by CCL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Nilendu Kumar Singh, Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Technical & Operations) Chandrashekhar Tiwari, Director (Planning & Projects) Anoop Hanjura, and Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar, along with senior departmental heads.
Key Highlights of the SOP Initiative
- Standardization of Processes: The SOPs aim to establish uniform procedures across departments, ensuring consistency in operations.
- Enhanced Transparency: Clearly defined guidelines will make processes more transparent and accountable.

During the meeting, CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh emphasized the importance of disciplined implementation, noting that adherence to standardized procedures will significantly enhance operational performance and governance standards within the organization.
Officials also underlined the need for strict compliance with the SOP guidelines, urging concerned departments to ensure effective execution to realize the intended improvements in efficiency and quality of work.
