CCL Organises Tree Plantation Programme under Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2025

30 Fruit Trees Planted under the "One Tree for Mother 2.0" Initiative

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) organised a tree plantation programme today at the Security Training Institute, Gandhinagar, Ranchi, as part of the Vigilance Awareness Campaign – 2025. The initiative was held under CCL’s flagship green movement “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0”.

On this occasion, Mr. Nilendu Kumar Singh, Director-cum-Managing Director, CCL; Mr. Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Finance); Mr. Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Human Resources); Mr. Chandra Shekhar Tiwari, Director (Technical/Operations); and Mr. Pankaj Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer, jointly planted saplings and reaffirmed the company’s commitment towards environmental conservation. Senior officials of CCL also took part in the drive with great enthusiasm.

Adding to the significance of the event, female sanitation workers and security personnel actively participated in the plantation programme. A total of 30 fruit-bearing trees were planted, symbolising environmental protection, sustainable development, and a green legacy for generations to come.

The plantation drive is part of the ongoing Vigilance Awareness Campaign – 2025, which runs from August 18 to November 17, 2025. Under this campaign, CCL has been organising a series of awareness activities, seminars, and community engagement programmes to promote transparency, integrity, and social responsibility.
