CheQ and AU Small Finance Bank Launch India’s First LED Co-branded Credit Card
This dual-network setup ensures seamless usage across online, offline, and QR-based payments

CheQ has partnered with AU Small Finance Bank to launch India’s first co-branded LED-enabled credit card, marking a significant innovation in the country’s digital payments ecosystem.
The CheQ AU Credit Card introduces a first-of-its-kind LED-powered tap-to-pay feature, offering users instant visual confirmation during transactions. The embedded LED lights up through the POS terminal’s NFC field—without requiring a battery—bringing a more intuitive and engaging payment experience.
This launch also marks CheQ’s entry into the credit card issuance space, evolving from a credit card bill payment platform into a full-fledged rewards-driven financial ecosystem.
Designed for New-Age Consumers
Built on insights from over 15 million credit cards and 4 million users, the card addresses longstanding issues such as fragmented rewards and complex redemption systems.
Aditya Soni, Founder & CEO of CheQ, said the product reflects a deeper understanding of consumer behavior and aims to simplify everyday credit usage. He highlighted that while the LED feature enhances visibility, the real innovation lies in a unified and user-friendly rewards system.
Sanjay Agarwal, Founder, MD & CEO of AU Small Finance Bank, emphasized that the partnership reinforces AU’s commitment to customer-centric innovation and delivering future-ready financial solutions for a digitally confident India.
