Coal India Limited: Production 781.06 MT In 2024-25, Behind Target, But Scraps Past Target Of 2023-24

This figure is lower than the target of 838 million tonnes, but higher than the 2023-24 production of 773.6 million tonnes

Coal India Limited (CIL) has reached a production figure of 781.06 million tonnes (MT) in the financial year 2024-25. This figure is less than the target of 838 million tonnes, but more than the production of 773.6 million tonnes in 2023-24.

Only three subsidiary companies of CIL – MCL, NCL, WCL have been able to reach the production target.

The 2024-25 coal dispatch figure has reached 757.39 million tonnes. Whereas the target was 838 million tonnes.
