Court Case Against NTPC MDO Thriveni-Sainik Mining Pvt. Ltd. And Others For Embezzlement And Fraud Of Rs. 85 Lakhs

A court case has been filed by one Mr. Kailash Sao in the case of embezzlement and fraud of Rs 85 lakh against (Mine Developer-cum-Operator) MDO Thriveni-Sainik Mining Pvt. Ltd., project head of Maharatna PSU NTPC Pakri Barwadih Coal Project of Government of India, B Prabhakaran and others in the case of embezzlement and fraud of Rs 85 lakh. After hearing the arguments by advocates Pawan Yadav and Anirudh Kumar, the court has admitted the case. Earlier, this was done in Dadi OP, after no action was taken, complaint was made to Hazaribagh SP and DIG, by Kailash Sao, Chairman of Jugra Displacement Committee. The court has taken cognizance of the complaint.
The complainant, Kailash Sao has said in his court complaint that in the year 2018, an agreement was signed with Jugra Displacement Committee and the project head of Triveni-Sainik Mining Private Limited. In which it was agreed to pay five lakh rupees per month to take care of pollution for coal transportation by road. After this the company had also given work orders. The amount was paid for a few months. After that the work was taken and payment was also not made. Cheques of Rs 10 lakh and 13 lakh were also given by Triveni Sainik Company which were not cashed. On complaining about which the company took back the old check in the name of giving another check and has not made the payment till now.
It is said that NTPC used to transport coal by road through many villages, due to which pollution spread. The villagers of Jugra opposed this. After protests and work being disrupted, Triveni-Sainik Mining Pvt Ltd compromised with the villagers and agreed to pay Rs 5 lakh per month. Later, the company stopped the payment to Jugra Displaced Committee.
Chairman of Jugra Displacement Committee Kailash Sao filed a complaint in the court against the then project head Subramaniam Swamy, Directors Kuldeep Singh Solanki, Britpal Sandhu, Siddharth Jain, Balasubramaniam Prabhakaran, Balasubramaniam Karthikeyan, Karthikeshwar, Himmat Singh Bedla etc. have been made accused in the case.
