Dr. G Ramadevi Of RINL Emerges As Trailblazing Recipient Of Gender Diversity Icon Award Presented By Indian Steel Association

At a function held at New Delhi on 7th November, the Indian Steel Association has presented the prestigious Gender Diversity Icon Award to Dr. G. Ramadevi, GM(PPM&CTQM-Production planning & monitoring and Cost & total quality management) for demonstrating excellence in commitment”
Dr. G. Ramadevi was also awarded the “Wings of Steel Award” at the same function.
It may please be noted that “only one person among all the recipients of Wings of Steel Award” is presented the prestigious Gender Diversity Icon Award from all major Public and Private Stel companies in India.
Shri Atul Bhatt, CMD RINL congratulated Dr. G Ramadevi for winning the very prestigious and iconic Gender Diversity Icon award and thanked Dr. Ramadevi for bringing laurels at national level and described that “it is a really great pride moment for RINL”. Shri Atul Bhatt conveyed his best wishes to Dr. Ramadevi to win many such awards in future.
Dr. G. Ramadevi, working as GM (PPM&CTQM) at RINL is a seasoned professional with 34 years of experience, has demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination throughout her career. In an era, when the steel industry was not the favored choice for women, Dr. G Ramadevi fearlessly ventured into male-dominated field, consistently overcoming adversities and shattering gender barriers along the way.
The Indian Steel Association has presented Dr. G. Ramadevi in recognition of her exemplary journey and efforts to create an inclusive culture, foster a sense of belongingness and promoting equity and fairness and for ‘demonstrating excellence in her commitment towards a more inclusive steel industry.
