Experts From 40 Countries To Attend The National Arogya Expo

National Arogya Expo to be held in Dehradun from 12 to 15 December, 2024

More than six thousand delegates including experts from more than 40 countries will participate in the 10th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo-2024 to be held in Dehradun from 12 to 15 December, 2024. In the event, discussions will be held on popularizing traditional medical systems like Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy.

Due to the Himalayas and perennial rivers like Ganga and Yamuna, Uttarakhand has always been an important stop for yoga practitioners as well as researchers of Ayurveda and other traditional medical systems. Now in this sequence, the ’10th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo- 2024′ is being organized by the World Ayurveda Foundation between 12 and 15 December in Uttarakhand. This event will be addressed by 20 internationally renowned speakers from 40 countries as well as more than 150 speakers in various sessions. More than 900 papers based on traditional medical systems will be presented in front of more than six thousand delegates in the event.

Along with this, to promote investment and trade in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy, AYUSH Drugs Manufacturers as well as Buyer Seller Meet will also be organized. Additional Secretary Vijay Jogdande said that in this expo to be held in Parade Ground, Dehradun in collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH, a free AYUSH clinic will be organized for the general public, in which free consultation will be given on diabetes, women and child health, old age, neurology, oncology, preventive cardiology. This event will prove to be a comprehensive fair of Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy. Three lakh people from across the state are expected to attend it.

“It is a matter of pride for the entire Uttarakhand that the 10th World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo-2024 is being organized in Dehradun. Through this event, the AYUSH and other traditional medicine manufacturers of the state will especially benefit. Along with this, awareness will also be created in the state through traditional medicine”, said Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
