Grand Function Organized At IMA House Noida On National Doctors’ Day 2025
Doctors are true lifesavers, whose service to humanity continues throughout their lives : Dr Mahesh Sharma
On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, a grand function was organized today at IMA Bhawan, Sector-31, Noida. The event was led by Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Member of Parliament and former Union Minister, along with Dr. Lokesh M, CEO of the Noida Authority. The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from eminent doctors, representatives from various social organizations, and members of the community.
In his keynote address, Dr. Mahesh Sharma lauded the relentless commitment and dedication of doctors to society. He remarked, “Doctors are true lifesavers, whose service to humanity continues throughout their lives. Their contribution to nation-building, especially in times of crisis, is immeasurable.”
Dr. Lokesh M, CEO of Noida Authority and a doctor himself, emphasized the Authority’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and services. Drawing inspiration from astronaut Neil Armstrong’s pioneering spirit, he stated that organizations like the Indian Medical Association (IMA) serve as beacons of inspiration, uniting society through their service. He also called for the long-pending implementation of the Doctor Protection Act, highlighting its urgent need in safeguarding the medical fraternity.
The event was graced by leading medical professionals including IMA President Dr. Sunil Awana, IMA Treasurer Dr. Dimple, IMA Secretary Dr. G.P. Gupta, and senior doctors like Dr. V.P. Singh, Dr. V.S. Chauhan, Dr. V.S. Chaudhary, Dr. A.P. Jain, Dr. Pallavi, Dr. Kartik Sharma, Dr. V.K. Gupta, Dr. A.K. Agarwal, and Dr. N.K. Sharma.
Prominent members of civil society and residents’ organizations also marked their presence. These included NEA President Bipin Malhan, FONRWA President Yogendra Sharma, along with Trilok Sharma, P.S. Jain, Vikas Jain, and Radhakrishna Garg.
