Interview For IOCL Director (P&BD) Scheduled On August 20

Six of twelve shortlisted candidates are from IOCL

Public Sector Headhunter – The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has scheduled the interview for the post of Director (Planning & Business Development) on August 20, 2024.

The 12 candidates shortlisted for the same are –

  1. Arvinder Singh Sawhney – ED (Business Development and Petrochemicals), IOCL
  2. Jitendra Kumar – ED and State Head, IOCL
  3. Subrat Kar – ED (Planning & Economic Studies), IOCL
  4. Umish Shrivastava, ED (Alternative Energy and New Energy Campus), IOCL
  5. Suman Kumar, ED (E&P), Business Development, Corporate Office, IOCL
  6. Saumitra Priya Shrivastava, ED (Retail) (Retail Sales-N&E), IOCL
  7. Dharmendra Kumar Sharma, ED (Corporate Strategy & Planning and Business Development), HPCL
  8. Debashis, Executive Director Deputy CEO, Hindustan Colas, HPCL
  9. Aloke Kumar Naskar, ED (Petrochemical) GAIL
  10. Atul Kumar Tripathi, ED (Projects) GAIL)
  11. Kamal Kishore Chatiwal, Managing Director, IGL
  12. Lalitesh Kumar, Technical Member Head Central Technology Services (CTS), ONGC Petroadditions Ltd. (OPal)

Arvinder Singh Sawhney is heading the Petrochemical business of IndianOil, the largest vertical among BD group.

Jitendra Kumar, has mostly worked in Marketing Operations, Heading the largest and most happening state office of IndianOil i.e. Punjab State Office, which belongs to Union Petroleum Minister’s home area, but does not have much experience of Business Development.

Subrat Kar has no experience of Business Development.

Umish Shrivastava has been working in R&D, mainly for EV push.

Suman Kumar is heading the E&P business under BD group, though IOCL has very limited presence in this area and has mostly worked in secretariat with Director (P&BD) in the past.

Saumitra Priya Shrivastava has mostly worked in Retail Sales, at present heading Maharashtra State Office but has no experience of Business Development.
