Interview For The Post Of Director (Research and Development) IOCL on September 12
Dr. Umish Shrivastava and Mr. Alok Sharma, both EDs with IOCL said to be frontrunners
Public Sector Headhunter, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has shortlisted 8 candidates to be interviewed for the post of Director (Research and Development) Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). The interviews would be conducted through video conferencing.
1) Dr. Umish Shrivastava, ED, Indian Oil Corporation Limited
2) Mr. Alok Sharma, ED, Indian Oil Corporation Limited
3) Mr. Ajay Kumar Harinarayan, Chief General Manager, Centre for High Technology (On deputation from IOCL)
4) Dr. Alex C. PuliKottil, Chief General Manager, Indian Oil Corporation Limited
5) Mr. Sarvesh Kumar, Chief General Manager, Indian Oil Corporation Limited
6) Mr. M. Sitharaman, Chief General Manager, Indian Oil Corporation Limited
7) Dr. Satyen Kumar Das, Chief General Manager, Indian Oil Corporation Limited
8) Mr. Ravi Kumar Voolapalli, Chief General Manager, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited
Sources told www.indianpsu.com that Dr. Umish Shrivastava and Mr. Alok Sharma, both Executive Directors with IOCL are both frontrunners for the top job. Sources add that though there are some Vigilance complaints pending against Shrivastava, he is close to the outgoing Director (Research and Development) and thus has a chance of making it to the top. On the other hand, Alok Sharma’s plus point is his versatile experience.
Sources also say that the outgoing Director (Research and Development), IOCL, Dr SSV Ramakumar, could be appointed Consultant or Advisor in IOCL after his superannuation.
