Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Apprentice 2025
Educational Qualification
- Technician Apprentice:
3-Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Civil / Electronics)
Minimum Marks: 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) - Trade Apprentice (ITI):
10th Pass + Full-Time 2-Year ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT) - Graduate Apprentice:
Full-Time Graduation (BA / B.Com / B.Sc / BBA)
Minimum Marks: 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) - Trade Apprentice (DEO – Fresher):
12th Pass (Non-Graduate) - Trade Apprentice (DEO – Skilled):
12th Pass + Domestic Data Entry Operator Skill Certificate
Age Limit (as on 31.12.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years
IOCL Apprentice Stipend 2025
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act:
- Graduate Apprentice: ₹9,000 – ₹15,000
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: ₹8,000 – ₹12,000
- Trade / ITI / DEO Apprentice: ₹7,000 – ₹10,000
No DA, HRA, or TA is applicable. Apprentices will receive valuable industrial training and an experience certificate from IOCL.
Selection Process
The selection process is 100% merit-based:
- Merit List: Prepared state-wise & trade-wise based on qualifying exam marks
- Document Verification: Verification of original certificates
- Medical Examination: As per IOCL medical standards
