Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2025 Attracts ₹3,665 Crore Investments and Global Participation

Over 700 delegates from 27 countries attended, with cultural performances, handicraft displays, and cuisine experiences highlighting the state’s rich heritage

The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board successfully concluded the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) 2025 at the Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center (Minto Hall), Bhopal, marking a grand celebration of tourism, culture, and global collaboration.

The event witnessed investment proposals worth ₹3,665 crore across hotels, resorts, and tourism infrastructure, and nearly 9,000 B2B meetings, reaffirming Madhya Pradesh’s position as a fast-growing tourism hub.

Inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the event saw participation from Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Tourism Minister Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, ACS Sheo Shekhar Shukla, and MD, MP Tourism Board Dr. Ilaiya Raja T., along with renowned guests Ekta Kapoor, Gajraj Rao, and Raghuvir Yadav.

Chief Minister Yadav announced that MPTM will be held annually, calling it a catalyst for tourism growth under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.

Key highlights included:

  • ₹50 crore investment by Balaji Telefilms for film and web series production.
  • Regional helicopter services to be launched across three routes.
  • Letters of Award to Indore Treasure Town Pvt. Ltd. for two major projects.
  • MoUs with Ease My Trip and Aagman India Travel for tent cities in Hanuwantiya, Tamia, Mandu, and Orchha.

The Mart showcased 20 rural homestays and 27 artisans, promoting rural entrepreneurship and local crafts. The event also launched ‘The Sitarist’ TVC featuring Anoushka Shankar, celebrating the spirit of Madhya Pradesh.
