Mahanadi Coalfields Limited To Distribute Sweets Worth More Than Rs. One Crore To Its Workers
Special incentive as MCL achieves annual target of production of 176 million tonnes of coal
Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL), will distribute sweets to its officials and employees on achievement of the annual target of coal production. A sum of Rs. One Crore Six Lakhs 88 Thousand and 750 has been approved for the same.
Packets of sweets at the rate of Rs. 250 will be distributed by the MCL management to its 21,053 regular officers and employees as well as 21,702 contractual workers.
MCL achieved the annual target of 176 million tonnes of coal production on March 4 itself. Similarly, the target of 176 million tonnes of coal dispatch was achieved on 28 February. The OBR target figure of 208 cubic meters was achieved on 14 February.
