Mahanagar Gas Limited’s Khushiyan Lakhon Ki Campaign Brings Smiles To New PNG Users – Campaign Extended
On 7th January 2025, MGL successfully concluded the first phase of ‘Khushiyan Lakhon Ki’ by organizing a computerized lucky draw to determine the winners

In the first-of-its-kind initiative in the country, Mahanagar Gas Limited, one of the largest city gas distribution (CGD) companies in India, had launched “Khushiyan Lakhon Ki” from 15th November till 31st December. Khushiyan Lakhon Ki was a consumer-based promotion wherein new customers from gasified buildings, registering for Piped Natural Gas (PNG) between 15 November and 31 December 2024, were eligible to participate in a computerised lucky draw, where 2172 customers would win amount ranging from ₹1,000 up to a grand prize of ₹1,00,000. The winners of ₹1,000, ₹5000 and ₹10,000 will receive credit in their MGL gas bills on conversion, ensuring an easy reward experience. The winners of ₹25,000, ₹50000 and ₹1 lakh were rewarded their prize money through cheque.

As a result of the program, MGL saw nearly double the number of new registrations from gasified buildings in Mumbai and its neighbouring areas of Navi Mumbai, Thane, Mira -Bhayander, Kalyan, Dombivili, Ambernath, Badlapur, Bhiwandi, Taloja, Ulwe, etc.

The lucky winners for the two grand prize of ₹1 lakh each are Mr. Freddy Patel from Mira Road (East) and Mr. Sanjay Parab from Kalyan (East). The individual winners were contacted by the MGL team and lucky winners of ₹25,000/-, ₹50,000 and ₹1 lakh were invited and presented with their cheques.

Due to the tremendous response for the Khushiyan Lakhon Ki promotion, it has now been extended till 31st March 2025 allowing even more households the opportunity to participate and win exciting prizes.
