Major Fire Breaks Out in NTPC’s Tandwa Power Plant In Chatra District Of Jharkhand
Causes of the fire yet to be established, fire brigade called out to help extinguish the rising flames
A major fire was reported from NTPC’s Tandwa Power Plant in Chatra District of Jharkhand. The cause behind the fire has not been ascertained yet but sources say that losses could be pretty heavy.
Senior officials of NTPC have informed the fire brigade and fire tenders are rushing in to extinguish the rising flames.
Local sources say that due to immense smoke arising out of the power plant, many residents of Tandwa were facing difficulty in breathing.
