MNVS Prabhakar is the New CMD of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited

After a prolonged wait, MNVS Prabhakar has been selected as the new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), popularly known as Vizag Steel.
Prabhakar is currently serving as Executive Director at NMDC Steel Limited. His name was recommended by the Search-cum-Selection Committee after interviewing five candidates for the top position at RINL.
The appointment brings leadership stability to the state-run steelmaker, which had been functioning without a full-time CMD for a considerable period. The committee finalized Prabhakar’s name after assessing the experience and credentials of all shortlisted candidates.
