MoU Signed Between NTPC Limited And Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited
MoU for supply of 9 lakh MT of Limestone for five years
The MoU was signed by Shri Surinder Pal Singh Virk (Chief General Manager, Corporate Centre-Fuel Management, NTPC) and Shri Rajat Aich (GM, Marketing & RM-AP), RINL in the presence of Shri S K Sinha (Head of Project, NTPC Simhadri) and Sh. D K Mohanty (Director, Commercial), RINL.
Limestone is a raw material for FGD (Flue Gas Desulphurization) system which is being installed at coal based thermal plants of NTPC for reduction of SOx emission. This MoU will cater the need of various plants of NTPC.
