Sub: Dilution of Leave Rules in CPSEs
Respected Sir,
We, the National Confederation of Officers’ Associations which represents around 2.5 Lakh Central Public Sector Executives would like to place the following to your kind consideration and favorable decision.
1 Inspite of spread of Covid-19 pandemic in the country, the employees of CPSEs are working round the clock to ensure uninterrupted supply of goods & services across the country.
2. CPSEs are in the fore front to push for fuelling economic growth as per vision of hon’ble
Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi ji.
3. With reduction of temperature, many cities of Europe and United States are witnessing the second wave of Covid19 and approaching winter in northern India has similar risk. Hence its very important to continue with the precautions and minimize the travel without impacting the business.
4. As the calendar is approaching to end, most of employees have not used their Casual Leave and may be planning to utilize it during remaining part of calendar. Any temptation of them to travel may invite risk of spread of Covid19 in CPSEs which may impact the productivity & performance.
5. In view of the same it is requested to direct the CPSEs to extend the applicability of Casual Leave of Calendar Year 2020 to Calendar Year 2021.
