Newly Appointed Chief Secretary Of Uttarakhand Anand Bardhan Takes Charge
Bardhan said that we will have to continuously work on discovering new resources and increasing the existing resources of the state

Newly appointed Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan assumed charge today at the Chief Secretary’s office in the Secretariat. Outgoing Chief Secretary Radha Raturi handed over the charge to Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan. On this occasion, the newly appointed Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan said that the successful implementation of the government’s policies for the development of the state is the priority of the administration. Livelihood, employment, skill development and reverse migration are also among the main priorities.

Soon after taking over, Bardhan said that working on new livelihood opportunities and developing infrastructure is very important for the progress of the state. Urbanization and the health sector of the state are also a big challenge. We have to work continuously to improve cities and improve health services. Along with this, water conservation is also a big issue, the whole world is facing water crisis. There is a need to work effectively on the ground on these main issues in the interest of the common citizen.
On the financial condition of the state, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan said that we will have to continuously work on discovering new resources and increasing the existing resources.
