Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club Distributes Sewing Certificates to 40 Participants

In a continued effort to promote self-reliance and community development, Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club organized a certificate distribution ceremony for 40 women who successfully completed the Club’s tailoring training programme. The initiative, held at NTPC Bongaigaon, reflects the Club’s commitment to fostering livelihood opportunities for welfare-associated women in the region.

Smt. Kasturi Maitra, President of Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club, handed over the sewing course completion certificates to the participants in the presence of Smt. Soumya Kar, Vice President of the Club, senior members of Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club, and representatives from the NTPC HR Department.

Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Kasturi Maitra lauded the participants for their dedication and hard work throughout the training. She highlighted that such programmes are aimed at equipping women with skills that enhance their confidence and economic independence. She also reiterated the Club’s vision of continuing its efforts to uplift and empower women through sustainable and skill-based initiatives.
