NTPC Bongaigaon Hosts NTPC Professional Circle Meet 2025

NTPC Bongaigaon today hosted the NTPC Professional Circle Meet 2025, a platform that brought together 16 cross-functional teams from various NTPC stations to present innovative solutions and share learnings aligned with NTPC’s evolving business priorities.

The convention was inaugurated by A. K. Jadli, Director (HR), NTPC Limited), who graced the event as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Jadli highlighted NTPC’s people-first philosophy and underlined how platforms like Professional Circles strengthen the culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation within the organisation. He also spoke on NTPC’s role in India’s energy transition and the confidence reposed by stakeholders in the organisation’s skilled workforce and operational excellence.

Earlier Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, welcomed the dignitaries and remarked that Professional Circles represent NTPC’s deep-rooted belief in the strength of grassroots innovation, where teams collaboratively solve real-world problems and contribute to process improvements. Shri Maitra lauded the dedication of all the teams, noting how their efforts align with NTPC’s renewed core values and the company’s ongoing journey toward energy transition and excellence.

An NTPC Bongaigaon Brochure designed as a ready reckoner for all stakeholders, was also released by Shri Jadli. Additionally, a short film on NTPC Bongaigaon’s ecological efforts and green initiatives was also released on the occasion, reflecting the station’s long-standing commitment to environment-conscious operations and community development.

The programme was attended by Debabrata Kar, GM (O&M), NTPC Bongaigaon; Raj Kumar Gupta, AGM (Corporate BE Department); senior officials from various departments; and representatives from the Corporate Business Excellence (BE) team. The event also witnessed participation from teams across NTPC sites, with many joining virtually, making it a vibrant exchange of knowledge and best practices across the organisation.

Adding vibrancy to the evening, a colourful cultural programme was organised, showcasing the rich heritage of Assam and the Bodoland Territorial Region. Through traditional dances, songs, and performances, the event celebrated the unique cultural fabric of the region and left a lasting impression on the participants.
