An Enthralling Kavi Sammelan Filled with Humour and Patriotism Organised at NTPC Bongaigaon

NTPC Bongaigaon Project, reaffirming its strong commitment to the promotion of the official language Hindi, organised a grand Kavi Sammelan that turned into an evening of laughter, patriotism, and cultural pride. The poetry conference featured four renowned poets from across the country, who mesmerised the audience with their captivating performances.

The programme began with the ceremonial felicitation of the guest poets.

Well-known humorist Sudip Bhola filled the auditorium with laughter through his witty humour and sharp political satire, while Niloptal Mrinal gave voice to contemporary social concerns and issues of youth through his thought-provoking verses. Suresh Albela kept the audience in splits with his unique style and humorous take on the ironies of everyday life. The evening culminated with a spellbinding performance by national poet Amit Sharma, whose powerful recitation of patriotic poetry infused the audience with pride and enthusiasm.

The occasion was graced by Mr. Arnab Maitra, Project Head, NTPC Bongaigaon, as the Chief Guest. He was joined by Mrs. Kasturi Maitra, President, Bardavi Shikla Ladies Club, and Mr. Anurag Maitra, General Manager (Operations & Maintenance). The presence of all department heads, employees, and their families added to the cultural vibrancy of the event.

This Kavi Sammelan at NTPC Bongaigaon served as an important step toward spreading awareness and love for the Hindi language within the organisation. The evening concluded with a warm banquet, leaving the audience with cherished memories.
