NTPC Bongaigaon Organizes ‘Walk for Unity & Integrity’ to Mark National Unity Day and Vigilance Awareness Week 2025
Employees, CISF personnel, and families join together to reaffirm commitment to unity, vigilance, and ethical values

In observance of National Unity Day and as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, NTPC Bongaigaon organized a ‘Walk for Unity & Integrity’ to promote the values of national integration, transparency, and ethical conduct among employees and their families.
The event was led by Shri Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, and accompanied by Anurag Gupta, General Manager (O&M), L. N. Meitei, Commandant, CISF Unit, NTPC Bongaigaon, along with senior officials, employees, CISF jawans, and members of their families who participated enthusiastically.

The programme commenced with a Pledge for Unity, reaffirming the collective resolve to uphold the spirit of unity, integrity, and vigilance in every sphere of life and work.
The walk concluded with a Tree Plantation Ceremony beside the temple premises, symbolizing NTPC’s enduring commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable community development.

Speaking on the occasion, Arnab Maitra highlighted the importance of nurturing a culture of vigilance, unity, and ethical responsibility within the organization, emphasizing that these values form the foundation of NTPC’s growth and success.
The week-long Vigilance Awareness Campaign at NTPC Bongaigaon features a series of awareness programmes, competitions, and outreach initiatives under the theme “Our Shared Responsibility.”
