NTPC Limited has successfully uprated two units at its Dadri Thermal Power Station, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing capacity optimization and efficiency enhancement efforts. The approval for the uprating was granted by the Central Electricity Authority.

The uprating involves Unit No. 5 and Unit No. 6, each of which has been enhanced from 490 MW to 500 MW, resulting in a combined capacity addition of 20 MW.
