Superintending Engineer (Production): Graduate degree in Engineering (4 years) with 65% marks OR Post Graduate degree in Petroleum Engineering/Technology (2 years) with 60% marks.
Senior Officer (Chemical): Postgraduate in Chemistry (2 years) with 60% marks.
Engineering Disciplines (Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, IT, Mechanical, Fire & Safety, HSE, E&C):Bachelor’s Degree in the respective Engineering discipline (4 years) with a minimum of 65% marks.
Senior Accounts Officer/Auditor: Associate Member of ICAI/ICMAI.
Senior Officer (Public Affairs): Post graduate degree in Social Work (2 years) with 60% marks.
Senior Officer (Geophysics/Geology): Post Graduate degree in Geophysics/Geology (2 years) with 60% marks.
Senior Officer (Legal/Land): Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with 60% marks.

Experience Requirements
Superintending Engineer (Production): Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience.
Senior Officer (Security): Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in the rank of Captain/Assistant Commandant/DSP or equivalent.
Confidential Secretary: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Secretarial functions.
Hindi Officer: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in official language implementation.

Grade C (Superintending Engineer): Up to 32 years for UR/EWS.
Grade B (Senior Officer): Generally up to 27 or 29 years for UR/EWS, varying by post.

Selection Process

Tier 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)

  • Weightage: 85% for SE & most SO posts, 100% for Grade A posts.
  • Qualifying Marks: 50% for UR/OBC/EWS and 40% for SC/ST/PwBD.
  • Syllabus: The questions will be based on the relevant technical discipline and may include sections on General Awareness, Reasoning, and English.

Tier 2: Personal Interview (PI) / Skill Test

  • Personal Interview (for SE & SO posts): Candidates who clear the CBT will be called for a Personal Interview in a 1:5 ratio. The PI carries a weightage of 15%. There are no minimum qualifying marks for the PI.
  • Skill Test (for Grade A posts): For posts like Confidential Secretary and Hindi Officer, candidates clearing the CBT will undergo a Proficiency/Skill Test which is qualifying in nature. Final selection will be based on CBT marks.
