ONGC, GAIL Sign MoU at India Energy Week 2026 to Explore Technical Collaboration in Upcoming Bid Rounds

Charting new ground for India’s energy future, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and GAIL (India) Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 27 January at ONGC ATI, Goa, on the sidelines of India Energy Week 2026. The agreement aims to explore potential technical collaboration and partnership opportunities in forthcoming exploration bid rounds.

The MoU was signed in the presence of ONGC Director (Strategy & Corporate Affairs) Arunangshu Sarkar, ONGC Director (Exploration) Om Prakash Sinha, and GAIL Director (Business Development) R.K. Singhal, underscoring a shared commitment to collaboration, capability-building and strengthening India’s energy security.

The partnership marks another strategic step towards responsible exploration and the development of a resilient, future-ready energy ecosystem for the country.
