Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reaches Rishikesh to inspect arrangements for PM visit
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday reached AIIMS Rishikesh and inspected the arrangements for the visit of the Prime Minister. Taking stock of the venue, the Chief Minister took detailed information about the arrangements from the AIIMS administration and officials. Chief Minister Shri Dhami directed that all the arrangements at the venue should be completed before time. According to the protocol of the Prime Minister, the arrangements should be thoroughly checked and strict Covid protocol should be maintained.
Speaker of the Assembly Mr. Premchandra Agrawal, Cabinet Minister Swami Yatiswaranand, Mayor Mr. Sunil Uniyal Gama, Secretary Finance Mr. Amit Negi, Secretary Information Mr. Pankaj Pandey, IG Intelligence Mr. Sanjay Gunjyal, officers of the Prime Minister’s Office and officials of the district administration and police were present during the visit of CM Dhami.
Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is a matter of pride for us that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is inaugurating various oxygen plants of the country including those in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister has a special attachment towards Uttarakhand, as a result of this, Uttarakhand has been given the gift of reconstruction of Kedarnath including all-weather road, Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line, strengthening air connectivity through Udan scheme. The Chief Minister said that whenever the Prime Minister comes to Dev Bhoomi, we all get new energy to do public service. The Chief Minister said that this visit of the Prime Minister would prove to be very beneficial for the development of Uttarakhand.
