PNB Empowers Investors with Unified Demat-Trading Account Opening Journey via PNB One

Launch in partnership with Aditya Birla Money Ltd. and SMC Global Securities Ltd.

Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, has taken a major step forward in its digital transformation journey by introducing a seamless Integrated Demat and Trading Account Opening facility. Available through the Bank’s flagship mobile banking app, PNB One, this digital feature enables customers to open both Demat and Trading accounts simultaneously—without the need for additional KYC documentation.

This new facility reflects PNB’s commitment to enhancing investor convenience and empowering customers with smooth, paperless, and hassle-free onboarding into capital markets.

Customers can easily open an integrated Demat and Trading account by visiting the ‘Popular’ section of the PNB One mobile app and selecting ‘Demat & Trading’. The service is also available through PNB’s internet banking platform.
