PNB Felicitates Hockey Olympians & Arjuna Awardees Abhishek and Sukhjeet Singh for Asia Cup 2025 Achievements
Both players are employees of PNB and serve as senior members of the PNB Hockey Team
Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, organised a special felicitation ceremony to honour India’s hockey stars – Olympian and Arjuna Awardee duo Abhishek and Sukhjeet Singh – for their outstanding contributions to the national team’s triumph at the Asia Cup 2025.
The event was held at the PNB Corporate Office, Dwarka, Sector 10, New Delhi, where Ashok Chandra, Managing Director & CEO of PNB, felicitated the players. The ceremony also featured an interactive session, during which the athletes shared their experiences and insights from their journey in international hockey.

Abhishek: A Paris 2024 Olympian, Commonwealth Games 2022 Silver Medalist, Asian Games 2022 Gold Medalist, and Asian Champions Trophy 2024 Gold Medalist. Recently adjudged Player of the Tournament at the Asia Cup 2025, Abhishek has established himself as one of India’s most dynamic forwards.
Sukhjeet Singh: A Paris 2024 Olympian, Commonwealth Games 2022 Silver Medalist, Asian Games 2022 Gold Medalist, and two-time Asian Champions Trophy Gold Medalist (2023 & 2024). Known as a dependable striker, his consistent scoring proved instrumental in India’s Asia Cup 2025 success.
Both players are valued employees of PNB and serve as senior members of the PNB Hockey Team. The bank, through its hockey academy, has been actively engaged in nurturing young sporting talent and contributing to the development of Indian hockey.
