Raids Conducted At ESI Hospital And Jan Aushadhi Kendras In Noida
The collected samples have been sent to a government laboratory for quality testing

In a surprise move, the district administration in Noida carried out raids at medical stores, Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras, and the ESI Hospital to inspect the quality and compliance of medicines being sold. The sudden inspections caused a stir across the medical community in the area.

Acting on the directions of District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma and the Commissioner of Food Safety and Drug Administration, Drug Inspector Jai Singh conducted spot inspections at:
- ESI Hospital, Sector-24, Noida
- RK Medicos, Sector-22, Noida
- Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra, Sector-22, Noida
During the inspection, a total of nine medicine samples were collected for lab testing:
- 5 from ESI Hospital
- 2 from RK Medicos
- 2 from Jan Aushadhi Kendra
Action will be taken after lab reports
The collected samples have been sent to a government laboratory for quality testing. Based on the test reports, further legal and administrative action will be taken if any irregularities are found.
More inspections to follow
According to the Drug Inspector, this is part of an ongoing campaign to ensure that all medicines sold in the district meet proper quality standards. Similar surprise inspections will continue across medical stores in the coming weeks.
