RINL Women Shine At National Stage – 35th National Meet Of WIPS
Dr. Sujatha Guttala & Ms. Reshma Sulthana Honored with Prestigious Awards the Meet

RINL has achieved a remarkable feat at the 35th National Meet of the Forum of Women in Public Sector (WIPS) being held at Plenary Hall, Vigyan Bhawan, in New Delhi on 17th and 18th February 2025. Organized under the inspiring theme “Create Your Own Sunshine,” the event recognized outstanding contributions of women professionals in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) across India.

WIPS-RINL bagged multiple accolades at the prestigious forum:
- Dr. Sujatha Guttala, Chief Specialist (OBGYN- Obstetrics and gynaecology), RINL has been conferred with the First Place for Best Woman Employee Award under Executive Category* for her compassionate and empathetic service as a gynecologist. She has been widely recognized for her research, winning multiple awards for her papers at the national level. Beyond her professional excellence, she actively contributes to society by conducting awareness programs in schools and colleges, educating young minds about women’s health issues.
- Ms. Reshma Sultana, Senior Lab Technician, Madharam Mines, RINL has been awarded the Second Place for Best Woman Employee Award under Non-Executive Category* for her exceptional service in handling pharmacy operations alongside her primary role as a lab technician at Madharam Mines. Her dedication extends beyond her professional responsibilities, as she actively supports underprivileged communities through her involvement with an NGO, making a significant impact on the lives of the needy.
- Adding to the accolades, RINL has also been honored with the “Special Participation Award” for its unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment despite challenges. The WIPS-RINL wing has played a pivotal role in spreading awareness about the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, ensuring that both women and men, including contract employees, are well-informed. Additionally, the wing has organized various online and offline seminars focusing on physical and mental health wellness, along with financial education programs tailored for women employees.
The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Ms. Vijaya K Rahatkar, Chairperson, National Commission for Women and the awards were presented by Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE & Member, Governing Body, ILO, today.

Expressing delight over the achievement, RINL Top management congratulated the award-winning employees and the WIPS wing of RINL for their collective commitment to excellence and women’s empowerment.
