Safety Awareness Programme and Flag March Strengthen Security Preparedness in BCCL’s PB Area

A comprehensive security awareness programme, coupled with a flag march, was successfully organized in the PB Area of Bharat Coking Coal Limited to reinforce vigilance, coordination, and preparedness among security personnel.
The programme was jointly conducted by the departmental security unit and the Central Industrial Security Force, highlighting the importance of collaborative security mechanisms in safeguarding critical infrastructure.
Senior officials present on the occasion included General Manager (PB Area) G.C. Saha, Regional Manager (Human Resources) Abhishek Rai, Inspector (CISF) C.B. Sehgal, Regional Manager (Administration) Ashutosh Tiwari, along with other officers and staff. The company’s security personnel, led by SSI Umesh Singh, also actively participated in the initiative.
Addressing the gathering, G.C. Saha emphasized the critical role of security personnel in ensuring the smooth functioning of operations. He elaborated on essential Do’s and Don’ts to be followed while on duty, stressing discipline, alertness, and adherence to professional standards.
A flag march was subsequently carried out across the PB Area, symbolizing unity, readiness, and the unwavering commitment of security forces to maintaining law and order. The march also served as a strong message of confidence and heightened awareness among employees and the surrounding community.
The programme concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing renewed motivation and a strengthened sense of responsibility. The initiative significantly enhanced coordination between BCCL’s departmental security and CISF, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
