SCOPE & CBC Launch ‘DAKSH’ Leadership Program With Educational Immersion At IIM Ahmedabad
Immersive six-day program brings together 75 senior PSU executives for leadership development through industry-academia collaboration

Marking a major step towards nurturing future-ready leadership in India’s Public Sector, the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) and the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) launched the first educational immersion of their flagship leadership program DAKSH at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.
The event witnessed the presence of key dignitaries including Adil Zainulbhai, Chairman, CBC; Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE; Dr. Alka Mittal, Member, CBC; and Prof. Bharat Bhaskar, Director, IIM Ahmedabad. Senior officials from knowledge partner McKinsey and academic partner IIM Ahmedabad also participated in the session.
The six-day immersive program is designed to offer a rich blend of faculty-led sessions, case studies, peer learning, and interactive discussions. Around 75 high-potential senior executives from various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) are part of the inaugural cohort, symbolizing the program’s wide reach and strategic intent.
The DAKSH program reflects SCOPE’s continued commitment to capacity building and leadership development in the public sector through collaboration with global consulting firms and top-tier academic institutions.
